Meghan McKenzie is Vice President of Growth at Foundation, the B2B content and distribution agency founded by Ross Simmonds. A sales leader based in Victoria, British Columbia, she spent years as the first salesperson at startups and ran enterprise sales at Crowd Content before taking charge of Foundation's new business.
Startup Sales and Crowd Content
McKenzie built her early career selling for startups, often as the only salesperson on the team. On her Clarity profile she wrote that her strength was building "the foundation for other sales reps to join the team" and measuring whether they succeeded, and she offered to advise founders hiring their first sales rep.
She joined Crowd Content, a content-creation company, as its founding account executive and enterprise sales manager in 2017, and served as its director of enterprise sales from 2018 to 2023. There she sold SEO-friendly content to enterprise retailers such as Best Buy, Bloomingdale's, and Walmart, built the sales process, and managed customer-success, account-management, and sales-development teams.
Leading Growth at Foundation
At Foundation she oversees growth and new business, guiding a team that helps large organizations grow through digital marketing, SEO, and content strategy. Her Foundation bio credits her with more than 15 years in enterprise sales and account strategy, and says she is known for designing sales processes and aligning teams around common goals. In 2026 she attended SEO Week in New York City with Simmonds and Foundation colleagues.
Her favorite quote, per that bio, is "If you can't measure it, you can't manage it." As a child she wanted to be a sports psychologist, and outside work she skis, cycles, and plays golf, depending on the season.
