Shannon Reedy

Chief Brand Officer

Terakeet

Shannon Reedy is Chief Brand Officer at Terakeet, the Syracuse, New York, reputation and search firm co-founded by MacLaren Cummings and Patrick Danial. She joined in 2009 straight out of Syracuse University and has held account-management, CRO, and go-to-market seats that now cover marketing, sales, and client success.

Joining Terakeet from Syracuse

Reedy joined Terakeet in May 2009 after a bachelor's degree in communications and rhetorical studies at Syracuse University. Terakeet's leadership bio says she quickly pushed clients past vanity traffic toward segmented keyword and conversion reporting, working beside search strategy and operations so every account had a growth plan tied to business goals.

In March 2014 she expanded analytics and built a dedicated client-relationship function, turning account management into a growth-strategy partner role across the book of business.

From Revenue Chief to Brand Chief

In August 2021 Terakeet promoted her to Chief Revenue Officer after more than twelve years at the firm, giving her sales, marketing, and account management. The promotion release quoted then-president Mark Kennedy on her talent for driving growth for customers and her team, and quoted Reedy on pairing customer-growth experience with marketing to move the company forward.

She later took the Chief Brand Officer title. Terakeet's leadership page says she leads marketing, sales, and client-success work, including go-to-market, acquisition, and retention for an enterprise reputation and brand-management practice.

The Marc Murray Award and Yoga

In 2016 she won Terakeet's Marc Murray Award, given to the employee who best embodies company values. Company materials still note that she teaches yoga weekly at a local studio and that she stays active at industry conferences and webinars.

Her executive peers at Terakeet include Kimberly Heffernan.
