Carrie Van Brunt-Wiley is vice president of public relations at Siege Media, the Austin, Texas, content marketing and SEO agency founded by Ross Hudgens. She has spent more than 18 years in digital PR, most recently as head of public relations and brand at Bankrate, and she joined Siege in June 2025 to lead its PR team.

Before Siege, Van Brunt-Wiley led public relations at Red Ventures and at Bankrate, the personal-finance publisher in the Red Ventures portfolio. Her Siege biography says that work blended traditional PR with SEO strategy to raise brand visibility. She held the head of public relations and brand title at Bankrate from 2022 until mid-2025.
In May 2025 Bankrate quoted her in its announcement of the Bankrate Data Center, a public collection of rate and consumer-survey data built for journalists and researchers. "By making this data publicly accessible, we aim to empower both journalists and consumers to make informed financial decisions," she said.
