Gayle Henderson is vice president of operations at Crackle PR, the remote B2B technology public relations agency founded by Parry Headrick. An accountant by training with more than 30 years in back-office leadership, she has worked as a vice president of human resources, a finance leader, and a chief information officer, and since 2020 she has also run The Innfall, her own operations consulting firm in New Hampshire.
A Career in Back-Office Leadership
Henderson earned a bachelor of science in accounting from St. John Fisher University in Rochester, New York. Her career since has covered nearly every part of running a company behind the scenes, with executive roles in human resources, finance, operations, and technology, according to her profile with the Women's Business League. During her time as a vice president of human resources, her company was recognized as a Best Small Company to Work For.
Founding The Innfall
In 2020 she started The Innfall, a consulting firm that handles HR, IT, recruiting, accounting, and operations work for small businesses. The name comes from a Norwegian word for a whim or an idea, and the firm's website says it builds systems around a client's goals so the client does not have to bend the business to fit off-the-shelf software. It describes her approach as aiming for "simplicity and transparency," with a focus on the gap between technology and the people who use it. "I am happy to report that it has been successful; there is a need for my unique experience," she wrote on LinkedIn in January 2022, when the firm's website went live.
At Crackle PR, the agency's leadership page lists her beside Headrick and James Gerber as vice president of operations for its senior-only, fully remote team.
Life in Durham, New Hampshire
Henderson lives in Durham, New Hampshire, with her husband, two children, and their dog. She belongs to the Dover, New Hampshire, chapter of the Women's Business League, and outside work she spends as much time as she can outdoors.
