Kevin Gibbons is founder and CEO of Re:signal, the remote UK SEO, digital PR, and AI search agency for ecommerce brands that he formed as BlueGlass in 2012. He has worked in digital marketing since 2003 and sets the agency's direction as it sells generative engine optimization to retailers such as ASICS.
A Placement Year in 2003
Gibbons started in a placement year at a web design agency during his university degree. "That was in 2003, and from there I got a taster of everything from design, development through to marketing services," he told the Marketing Masterclass Series in February 2026. "SEO really appealed to me."
He went freelance in 2006 while spending a year in Australia after graduating, and founded an SEO agency in Oxford, England the same year.
BlueGlass to Re:signal
He formed BlueGlass in 2012. The agency, later renamed Re:signal, works with ecommerce brands including OKA, which hired it in 2015 while it was still BlueGlass, and ASICS, whose organic revenue it reports growing twentyfold since 2018. Re:signal's AI search page now sells a fixed-price GEO audit and tracks how often AI answers recommend a client's products.
On what makes an agency stand out, he said building "a proven track record + reputation, within a specific niche/sector, and specialism is key to growth."
